Big Grizzly is an EPCM company providing design, engineering and full service construction manage- ment services throughout BC and the rest of Canada.
As a Métis group of companies, their focus is on building teams of qualified, experienced individuals from First Nations and other cultures to facilitate the completion of the large and complex projects in the energy sector, and to develop ongoing relationships with strategic partners in pursuit of this goal.
PROBLEM
In 2013 Big Grizzly was looking for a flagship website to showcase their range of services to the Mining, Oil & Gas, and Hydroelectric industries. In addition to their projects in these sectors, they also build on-site worker accomodations. Their mandate was to have the site completed towards the end of the year so they could market their services to potential partners.
It was also important to Big Grizzly that the web design company was local and able to deal with website related issues in a timely manner.
SOLUTION
In order to develop the website the principles of Lighthouse Marketing met with Big Grizzly on a number of occasions to strategize, clarify goals and capture the essence of their company culture and vision for the future. The website needed to project a strong but approachable image; Big Grizzly was delighted with the final result.
With the completion of the website in 2104, Big Grizzly was able to move forward with its’ plans to develop partnerships and bid on projects throughout Canada. To date, Big Grizzly has successfully captured several multi-million dollar projects and is well on their way to success through their strategic alliances and the purchase of complementary companies in the energy sector.
